Bleak

Sam: "... yeah. Well, I'll ask Phil. [...] Filipe. The new analyst for Finsbury Park and Crouch Hill? He's been here for a month now and he's the one who raised that PTW (note: Permit To Work)".

Sam walks over.

Sam: "Those flush and samples you had scheduled for today? Well, there's an NST (note: street technician or whatnot) on site but he's alone and there's no way he can do them by himself because of the oncoming traffic."

Phil: "Oh... those were requested by Amar (note: Amar Khan, Network Engineer for Finsbury Park). I think they were DG2 related (note: low pressure for customers, serious business) so is there any way they can be done today?"

Sam: "Not likely... we only have three NSTs allocated to do our jobs and he's trying to get P&D (note: Planning and Dispatch) to send a fourth."

Phil: "Well... I just raised the PTW and left if for Amar to allocate. I guess it's looking pretty bleak, innit?"

Sam: "Ahaha, yeah. Bleak's the perfect word for it"

Sam walks back to his workstation.

Sam: "Phil's already using words such as bleak, haha".
